A Goregous Snow-Covered Wedding Day

It’s taken me a year to share this wedding … but that’s because I wanted to share it at the appropriate time of the year! So HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Stephanie and Clint. I LOVED being a part of your beautiful day!! Thank you!

As you can see from these photos, there was snow on the ground for Stephanie and Clint’s winter wedding… it was sooooo perfect for a Jan wedding. I was super excited to shoot in the snow because even though we do get some snow in Nashville, it rarely lasts past 10:00am. Stephanie and Clint and the rest of the bridal party (and Shannon & Alex) we great to play in the snow with me :) Yes, it was cold…. but sooooo worth it. Stephanie and Clint are such a fun, easy going couple and I loved that they enjoyed their photo time in the snow!

In addition to the beautiful day, Stephanie and Clint did an amazing job at all the little details in their wedding. Two of my favorite parts: paper flowers and their vows. First, Stephanie made paper flowers which were part of all the bouquets and wreaths. They also painted a collage on paper sheet music to symbolize their unity. Second, I LOVED part of their vows in which they committed to “choose each other above anyone else everyday.” For some reason this has stuck with me and challenged me in my own marriage… that love is a choice. Thank you for this beautiful reminder. Stephanie & Clint, may you find joy and wonder in your relationship with each other and God everyday of your life as you choose to serve, laugh and love each other. Happy Anniversary!

Embrace Session at Arrington Vineyard

I love this Embrace Session! Bobby & Susan have been married for 7 years and like many couples with young kids, they have lots of photos of their kiddos and family, but very few of each other.  They love to spend time at Arrington Vineyard hanging out with friends or their family, so we decided to head over there for their photography session (and drink a little wine). Arrington Vineyard is a great place to relax, talk and connect. If you are in the Nashville area, check it out (they are open year-round).

Embrace Sessions are photography sessions for couples to connect and have fun … and receive some photos that document them, their own story, their connection and their interests. Sign up for our email newsletter to receive information about upcoming specials on our Embrace Session which I’ll announce in February.

Tortilla Chips & Red Trucks

This shoot pretty much had all my favorite elements: a beautiful day, a super fun couple, a downtown stroll in Franklin, a RED TRUCK (that we stumbled upon), a pasting train, a gorgeous sunset and we finished the day with drinks at Chuys. Here are just a few of my favs from Fallon & Devan’s Engagement Shoot. I’m soooo looking forward to their wedding celebration in March – I know it’s going to be a FUN day!!

Fallon & Devan: I so enjoyed spending the afternoon with you for this shoot. I have love getting to know you. It’s apparent that you have TONS of fun together and deeply love each other. May your wedding planning continue to be filled with lots of laughter, tortilla chips and red trucks. Cheers!

Sweet Infant Session

This sweet session was so fun and peaceful! Kayla made these gorgeous accessories for her (in photos #3 & #5 below). I mean, girls, even infants need accessories! If you are considering an infant shoot, make sure you schedule your session within the first two weeks after their birth to capture sweet sleeping baby moments like these.
